MIR ROME (WORLD ROME) is a grand new-processual project by Boris Yukhananov and the Studio of Individual Directing (MIR-6), which will unfold on several stages throughout the coming 2022–2023 season on the stage of the Stanislavsky Electrotheatre.
Everything will start very soon, on October 22, when the sixth generation of graduates from the Studio of Individual Directing (MIR) presents the MIR ROME (WORLD ROME) project based on Shakespeare's Roman Tragedies — Julius Caesar, Antony and Cleopatra, Titus Andronicus, and Coriolanus — combined in a series of 21 performances. MIR ROME (WORLD ROME) consists of three parts: Stage (11 evenings), Road (4 evenings) and Elysium (6 evenings).
Artists from the HSE School of Design under the direction of Anastasia Nefyodova will take part in the project together with the graduates of MIR. Boris Yukhananov and designer Ivan Kochkaryov built a production that brings together 21 performances, and involves 120 people.
Premiere performances take place evenings from October 22 to November 19 on the Small Stage of the Electrotheatre.
