Boris Yukhananov: This project has two names. Orphic Games is the first. Punk-macrame is the second, and it suggests a special kind of new genre. You can hyphenate the second phrase, or you can not. But both of these words require research. You can look into “punk” to see what the word is related to. Similarly, “macrame” - an Arabic word - refers to the profundity of weaving knots. Much is revealed if you decipher these concepts. And it’s not for no reason that we describe the production with eight strict practical and mathematical formulas from Wikipedia, to which we direct our fans who appreciate a scientific perspective. I believe we live in a time when an interest in the relationship of art to a broad scientific perspective has begun to flourish. Also of interest is a rejection of violence in any message. Today, diverse, young viewers (I mean young souls, they may be elderly people) do not want art submitting them to semantic violence - they want to respond to what they see themselves and to deepen their understanding. I call this spectator an author-consumer; that is, he is the author of his own consumption, and it is to him that new-processual art is addressed. Orphic Games. Punk-macrame is the second important project in this field (the first was The Golden Ass. The Open-circuited Workspace).
