Foreign project of the year
Octavia. Trepanation by Dmitri Kourliandski and Boris Yukhananov at the Holland Festival, Eternal Russia by Marina Davydova and Vera Martynov at the Utopian Realities festival in Berlin, and, as an exception going beyond the Moscow repertoire, the triumph of the Perm Theatre of Opera and Ballet, the MusicAeterna orchestra and chorus, and Teodor Currentzis with The Mercy of Titus, staged by Peter Sellars for the Salzburg Festival. 
Opening of the season
The new space at the Theatre of Nations and the Theatre Yard at the Stanislavsky Electrotheatre.
